iOS limits how reliably any third-party alarm can play through silent mode or Focus modes. The most common causes are: silent switch on, Focus mode active without Ryli added as an exception, low Background App Refresh, or another app force-quit the system.
For the most reliable experience, keep your phone off silent, plug it in overnight, and add Ryli to your Focus mode allow list under Settings → Focus.
If a mission fails repeatedly, try switching to a different mission in Settings (Math is the most forgiving). Camera-based missions need a well-lit room. If the issue persists, email us with the mission name and time of the alarm.
Cancellations happen through Apple, not through us. Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Ryli → Cancel Subscription. You’ll keep Premium until the end of your current billing period. Full steps on the Subscription Terms page.
Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by Ryli. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Ryli charge, and tap “Report a Problem.” See our Refund Policy for details.
Streaks live on your device. If the streak was lost because of a missed alarm or app issue, email support and we’ll see what we can do, but most streak data is stored locally and may not be recoverable after the app is deleted.
Object Hunt uses on-device image recognition (iOS Vision framework). It works best in good light with the object filling most of the frame. If a specific object is consistently rejected, you can switch to a different object in Settings.
No third-party iOS app can guarantee playback through Focus or DND without a special Apple entitlement reserved for emergency apps. Add Ryli as an allowed app under Settings → Focus → [your mode] → Apps to ensure alarms come through.
Almost all Ryli data lives on your device. Deleting the app removes your alarms, missions, and streak. Your Apple ID subscription is separate — you must cancel it in Settings or it will continue to renew.
If you signed in with Apple, you can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Full steps and a web request fallback are on the Delete account page.
